The album was recorded at the Wreckingroom Studio in Lyons, Colorado and broadcasted via the streaming platform http://www.volume.com. Inspired by the likes of  the Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who, 70s, 80s and 90s rock, Fishell captivates the power and musicality of these greats within his own music.

The album is further enhanced by the dynamic rhythm section of Brian McRae (drums) and Mario Pagliarulo (bass). Embrace the variety of genre-bending tracks, like the “dance” version of AC/DC’s Hell’s Bells, Rush-like time signature shifts in Here’s Looking at You, and every rock fan’s favorite chant in God Save the Queen. Not to mention, the album includes the popular Pushing and Pulling. As Fishell himself commented in a statement, “the band guys were killing it as usual, my guitar playing and singing worked out, and I thought my overall emotion translated pretty well into the recording, so BOOM – that’s an album right there!” With ‘We’ve Got a Live One’, John Fishell has solidified his place among the classic rock greats. His one-of-a-kind performance and passion are remembered through his performances.
