Though fans have stayed patient, it seems as if we are set to get that final album release date from SZA! She has shared over recent months that the album is both in it’s final stages of mixing and mastering and is almost ready to go. SZA’s last critically acclaimed album ‘Ctrl’ was released in 2017. With handfuls of highly successful singles and collaborations being released since then, it is to no wonder why fans are anxiously waiting for a new full album!
However, SZA expressed that she really appreciates the patience of her fans but can find it troublesome to try to keep everyone pleased and satisfied, when the nature of the music industry can be an ever-changing timetable. She shares that she wants this newest album to be her best body of work, expressing that she wants to be a better writer, artist and musician because of it.
Needless to say, we can’t wait to hear all of the amazing new tracks that SZA has been working on, and if that means we have to wait a little later for the best possible body of work, then so be it!
