If you have been buzzing around the internet in the past week, you would have seen the online uproar and controversy towards Liam Payne’s interview on Logan Pauls Podcast, where he named, shamed and shared accounts from his time in One Direction. The online backlash came about as soon as the podcast episode and video was shared with fans disheartened by Liam’s strong choice of words and harsh statements towards his four other fellow ex-band members. Sharing areas of discussion towards Zayn Mailk, Louis Tomlinson, Nial Horan and Harry Styles, he described the boys as ‘wild’ whilst also sharing his personal opinions on their previous actions, mainly pointing towards Zayn Malik.
He shared that he had a plethora of reasons as to why he disliked Malik, expresses that he ‘can’t condone things that he’s done’. Alongside many other outlandish remarks, the ones towards Zayn were what fans were most hurt bye to which Liam decided to tweet a response.
Saying that he does not usually comment on on things but this time has chosen to, Lima tweeted; “…They mention a specific incident involving Zayn which I responded to – but listening back maybe I didn’t articulate myself as well as I could have”. He goes on to share that though there will always be areas that they disagree on, he considers Zayn as family and will always stand by his side.
