Jessie J has shared her hopes of becoming a first time mum within the next few years after opening up about her miscarriage in 2021. She spoke through her ordeal whilst appearing as a guest on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers Podcast as she reiterated that becoming a mother within the upcoming years is something she would love to happen in whichever way works for her body.
The ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ singer expressed that a baby is ‘100%’ something she is thinking about. She stated, “I want to have a baby if I can, whichever way it happens: naturally, surrogate, IVF, adopted, whatever – I’m open”. Jessie then spoke on her maternal energy and how she has found that babies and children are naturally drawn to her and vice versa.
Due to her struggles suffering with Endometriosis, (a painful condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes), Jessie, along with many other women, have the unfortunate knowledge of the condition equalling to a lower chance of fertilisation. However, as mentioned her journey to becoming a mother lies in a multiple of different categories which we wish her all the best in.
