Love Will Stay With You encompasses haunting, gentle horrorcore, loaded with understated synths and gritty lyrical content. The brooding siren vocals, gritty and melancholic bring an unrequited atmosphere. Armed with 10-tracks, Waves shrouds the audience in mystery, contrasting the soft melodies with hard metal rhythms, reminiscent of Linkin Park. Symbiotic with the album’s title, listeners go down a rabbit hole of peaks, troughs, highs and lows, featuring The Adepts and Louis Gibbor.
Hypnotic and enigmatic, Bent Self’s world goes beyond that of the album. The Galactic Weed Bandits merch line, owned by Bent Self, has taken off. Presenting the anarchic and eccentric persona, the brand oozes all things aliens, big green plants, and neon. During lockdown the artist didn’t stand still, going galactically ganja with astronomical success. Although a success in its’ own right, Galactic Weed Bandits has lasered in new fans.
