Mysterious 5-piece metal band ‘Supreme Unbeing’ led by vocalist/ prophet Zac Red, with his fellow prophets D.Vine (Lead Guitar), D.Sciple (Rhythm Guitar), Unknown (Bass) and Al Mytee (Drums) release power-house single ‘Face Of Evil’, governing sonically, looming and delicately daunting.
Despite the band recently transforming from animated characters into entities of flesh and blood, ‘Supreme Unbeing’ has made impact in the metal community since the release of debut full-length album ‘Enter Reality’ into the physical domain. The album which achieved a rating of an 8/10 in Metal Hammer (Greece), and 3rd place in ‘Album of the Year 2020’, awarded by the readers of Sweden Rock Magazine. The milestones definitely don’t stop there, with the band landing spots on the highly esteemed ‘Spotify Editorial Playlist’ within ‘Trashers’ and ‘New Metal Tracks’, showcasing an astounding 5.5+ million digital and video streams in under a year since the debut.
Highly anticipated from fans, the band has taken no time in getting back into crafting new music, releasing intensely atmospheric track ‘Face of Evil’, a single in which heralds the upcoming second album ‘Enduring Physicality’ (22/2/22). With a strong belief in their messages to the people of the Earth, vocalist Zac Red states “This song is about self-proclaimed kings, tyrants, societal leaders… and your friends. Whether you have your own life-agenda or not, they’ll manipulate and rob you of your free will to get what they want with their – as the song goes – ever-changing Face Of Evil. Humans are dual in nature, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, we all have a good side and an evil side, which side, and face, you decide to show at any given moment is yours to balance carefully on this grand stage. How do you want to be remembered?”
Their stories as unknown as their faces, all but for their animated videos premiered via REVOLVER Magazine for singles ‘You’ll Never Make It’ and ‘Animals’, with fans left guessing if they can expect the same visuals for the ‘Face Of Evil’ music video, featuring Swedish actor ‘Dragomir Mrsic’ (‘Snabba Cash’ and ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’). The Tom Cruise co-star talks on the ‘Supreme Unbeing’ video. “When the band asked me to play the leading role in their video, I immediately accepted, the bands messages are too important to ignore. Besides, my naturally looking evil eyebrows made me feel at home with the character in the video”.
Singer and guitarist of German metal outfit ‘Orden Organ’, ‘Sebastian ‘Seeb’ Levermann’, mixed and mastered the single, creating a masterful track laced with dynamism. “A smile is always there to greet us. A smile will always hide the truth.” concludes Zac Red of ‘Supreme Unbeing’.
