Quite Great writer Chloe Mogg produces series focusing on mental health during pandemic

One of our very own bloggers and writers, Chloe Mogg, has produced a brand new vlog series on YouTube.

The series focuses upon the impact COVID has had on our mental health across the nation, but also how we can look after ourselves.

For a brief introduction to the series, I’ll let Chloe explain.

‘Just Checking In’ is a great way to make others feel like they’re not on their own when it comes to illnesses like depression and anxiety, as well as other disabilities.

Chloe, a sufferer herself, bares all by detailing her experience with mental health. As well, she gives out some brilliant advice on how we can cope with the tough times.

As someone who has depression and anxiety myself, I really admire Chloe for standing up and speaking about her personal troubles.

Mental health is an illness that is often neglected and “brushed under the carpet” so to speak. This is a travesty, and coupled with the stigmas of ‘cheer up’ and ‘just smile’, it’s clear to see why some find it impossible to open up about.

Having just uploaded the second episode, speaking about how the recent pandemic can damage our mental health, this is something I recommend we all watch.

If you feel like you’re struggling, then don’t feel embarrassed to speak up. If you never say anything, things will never get better. If you don’t want to open up to those around you then try calling one of the numbers below.
