Australian sister duo Charm of Finches are returning to the UK in 2026 with a new tour and a brand-new single titled “Meteor,” out 14th November.
The Melbourne-born sisters, Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes, are known for their emotional folk-pop sound and beautiful harmonies. Their music blends melancholy and wonder, often inspired by nature and stories from their travels.
“Meteor” Out 14th November
The upcoming single “Meteor” reflects the power of nature and its connection to human emotion. It was recorded by the ocean in Victoria, Australia, and mixed in Canada. The track will be the first glimpse of their upcoming fifth album.
The duo explained,
“Immersing ourselves in nature is part of our artistic practice. We’re excited to share new songs and stories infused with the landscapes that have inspired us — from Queensland’s tropical rainforests to the mountains of New Zealand.”
As part of the album’s creation, the sisters will write and record in Scotland. Fans can help support this new project through the Australian Cultural Fund.

Charm of Finches will play 14 shows across the UK, starting in London on 18th February and ending in Glasgow on 4th March.

Charm of Finches create graceful and moving folk-pop. Their songs are poetic, layered, and rich with harmony. The sisters have won several awards, including Best Folk Album at the Australian Folk Music Awards (2022) and Best Folk Act at Music Victoria Awards (2021).
