Indie favorite Bartees Strange has released a new track called “DCWDTTY.” The song is inspired by Smart Went Crazy’s “DC Will Do That To You” and is produced with Jack Antonoff. It appears on All Things Go: 10 Years, a charity compilation coming out November 7, 2025. All proceeds will benefit The Ally Coalition.
“One of my favorite songs from people in this part of the world is DC Will Do That To You,” Bartees says. “This version doesn’t have much to do with theirs, other than that so much of who I am is because of D.C. It’s me wandering through the DMV, noticing things seen and heard in this uniquely lovely, upside-down place.”
All Things Go Celebrates 10 Years
The project marks a decade of the All Things Go Festival. Since 2011, the festival has highlighted female, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ artists. In 2023, the organizers partnered with The Ally Coalition to expand their support for LGBTQ+ youth. As a result, the new compilation reflects the festival’s mission of diversity, creativity, and inclusion.
A Compilation Full of Stars
“DCWDTTY” follows several strong tracks already released. These include:

- Maren Morris – “Welcome to the End”
- Juliana Madrid & ella jane – “Sky King”
- googly eyes, Joy Oladokun & Allison Ponthier – “Jesus and John Wayne”
In addition, the full album will feature Rachel Chinouriri, Medium Build, Maude Latour, Joy Oladokun, EMEI, jasmine.4.t, and others. Fans will be able to buy it digitally or as limited-edition vinyl and CD.
A Growing Festival
The festival continues to expand. It began in Washington, D.C. and later reached New York City in 2024. In October 2025, Toronto will host its first edition. This year’s lineups include Doechii, Clairo, Kesha, Lucy Dacus, MARINA, The Marías, Lola Young, Reneé Rapp, Kacey Musgraves, Remi Wolf, and more. Therefore, All Things Go is proving itself as one of the most forward-thinking music festivals today.
