Music veteran MATNEY is teaming up with multi-platinum rock star Stevie Salas for their highly-anticipated new single “All Fired Up.” Set for release on February 9th, the track has already garnered buzz with its accompanying video, which debuted on January 26th.

Drawing inspiration from the rich history of southern rock, MATNEY’s lead vocalist Michael Matney brings a unique blend of influences to the table. Reflecting on his rural upbringing and fueled by his personal struggles and faith, Matney’s sound has been compared to the likes of classic acts ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd. What sets All Fired Up apart is not only its infectious sound, but also its production. The single is expertly produced by multi-platinum artist and producer Stevie Salas.

With a decorated resume of working with A-list musicians such as Justin Timberlake and Mick Jagger, Salas also notably executive produced the award-winning documentary ‘Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World’ in 2017. His expertise and touch brings a fresh and elevated perspective to MATNEY’s signature style. While fans of underground post-punk and southern rock may recognize Matney from his previous project White Boy and The Average Rat Band, his latest venture is sure to gain him even more acclaim. The band’s last album was deemed “possibly the last entry in the Greatest Post-Punk Albums Nobody’s Ever Heard” by LA Record and a must-have for “every fan of post punk and proto-metal” by The ROCKPIT.

With such an impressive background and a highly-anticipated release, it’s safe to say that MATNEY’s All Fired Up is set to make its mark on the music scene. The single will be available on all platforms and is set to ignite a firestorm of fans when it drops under Roulette Records. Don’t miss out on this captivating new sound.
