Rock band Star Vision announces the release date for their debut EP ‘Another Time, Another Place’ which will drop on all major streaming platforms on March 18th.
Based in Stockholm, Star Vision is fronted by vocalist Scott Van Dort who has combined his multi-instrumental skills to create this four track project. To accompany the EP release, Star Vision will be releasing two lyric videos to showcase the tracks from the EP.
Scott van Dort is returning to the industry after previous successes working on other projects. In 2014 and 2015, Van Dort worked on the Los Angeles Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival Sci-Fest where he collaborated with directors such as Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons), Philippe Mora (The Howling), and Jack Kenny (Warehouse 13). After collaborating with such names, Van Dort continues to produce music in multiple genres for various anonymous projects, developing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist which has benefited his production work.
Talking about the meaning beyond the tracks that feature on the EP, Star Visions quotes “Destiny is about the moment of love-at-first-sight, where your eyes meet a stranger across the room and you know you can’t leave the place without approaching her or him. Last Day of September was written as a tribute to my Dad who passed suddenly and unexpectedly. It reminisces about the music he introduced me to, his promise to always be around, and that when he passed away, his promise to return or give us signs to know he was here.”
Star Visions New EP entitled ‘Another Time, Another Place’ will be available to listen to in full on the 31st March 2023.
