Building up to an accompanying feature film, Kenton Hall releases classic pop/rock twin albums Idiopath and Omniopath. Released as debut pieces of work, the two simultaneous albums compliment one another and feature 33 original tracks plus two special bonus tracks.
For all fans of the likes of Elvis Costello, Nick Cave or Squeeze, these albums feature a mixture of rock and pop influences that are bound to catch your attention. The release is a long awaited return for Kenton who has previous success in rock band lst which were popular throughout the noughties. Lst was voted by MOJO readers as one of the Top 20 Songwriter of Substance, and described as “curiously moving” by Lemony Snicket, and as having “smart lyrics and catchy tunes” by Neil Gaiman.
The debut album Idiopath features the leading single ‘Maybe’ which was released on January 17th. Accompanied by a music video, the leading track ‘Maybe’ features a music video that was directed by Mbili Munthali. The ‘Maybe’ music video depicts the highs and lows of a female-female relationship all in a stunning one shot from start to finish.
