Weaving electronic elements and raw emotive lyrics, Raye crafts a sense of intimacy and hostility, with her two latest powerful releases. Just before announcing that her upcoming debut album will be released this year, Raye dropped two different tracks as part of a four piece mini EP for fans.
Each track is of a different genre, creatively showcasing what fans can expect to hear on the album which is diversity, authenticity and emotion. Since becoming an independent artist after ending her contract with Polydor Records in 2021, Escapism and The Thrill Is Gone are the third and fourth independent releases.
