Lennon and McCartney; Marr and Morrissey and now Odillia and Snoop Dogg, another match made in heaven? Quite possibly.
Her label, Lukevision believes so. ‘Odillia is that rare breed of young artist with heart, soul and the talent and dedication to match!

After leaving home at 16 to pursue her dreams of music, the now 24 year old stepped into the spotlight after appearing on BBC‘s talent show, All Together Now.
From an early age, it was clear that Odillia was going to be one to keep an eye on and Break It Down proves exactly that.
The song is based on her personal experience in a relationship where one partner needs clarification. ‘I write all of my own songs’, she explains.
‘They are all based on things I have personally experienced or the experiences of people in my life.
‘Sometimes, when two people are in a relationship but not on the same page, there comes that moment of honesty where they just have to break it down and say what it is they want or don’t want from each other…
…I’m excited to play off those emotions in a back and forth with Snoop, with beautiful Aruba as the backdrop of the story’.
Working with one of the greatest rappers of our time whilst going to Aruba to shoot the music video, anyone else feel like they’re missing out?
The song itself is a great collection of different voices, instruments and genres.
As Snoop Dogg introduces us to Break It Down, he does so accompanied by an upbeat, peppy tune.
After a while, we’re introduced to the wonderful voice of Odillia. Her soothing female voice contrasting beautifully against the deeper tones of Snoop Dogg.
At first, the track allows the two to breathe and voice their feelings, one through the medium of rap and the other in a more traditional singing format.
However, not to be outdone by the man himself, Odillia takes up the rapping reigns and gives it a go herself, successfully might I add.
This change in pace and direction is executed perfectly, taking the tune to the next level, adding another layer to what was already a great single.
As the two begin to have what feels like a conversation, it signifies that this is more than just a song. These are more than just meaningless words, you can sense that they both mean exactly what they’re saying.
Granted, it isn’t always best to pour out your emotions on a track, but in his instance, it works.
As the beat fades gently, it brings proceedings to a close on a piece of music that is well worth experiencing.
